The exhibition This Has Been explores contemporary iterations of the ‘photographic’ and the shifting variants of contextual inquiry that has exceeded the 'crossroad' between analogue and digital forms. The artists seek to further expand this field of inquiry through creatively engaging in dialogue with photography’s indeterminate nature and openness of forms.
Through their choice of subject matter and inclusion of different media formats the six participating artists in this group show, Paul Adair, Kate Beckingham, Danica Chappell, Danny Digby, Benjamin Lichtenstein, and Kate Robertson, explore the ‘limits’ of photography’s current manifestation whilst also investigating what photography can be.
